Sunday, July 10th

It's the first Blog entry for a few days as things are mercifully quiet now we are out of hospital! I think that we will try to update every Monday as that's the day for Elizabeth's hospital outpatients clinic.

Elizabeth is continuing to enjoy life 'on the outside'. The weather here has been absolutely boiling and so she spent much of yesterday knocked out by the heat. Chloe had a great time in the paddling pool and on the water slide.

It was our annual street BBQ last night and we all stayed out until 10pm in the evening heat chatting to lovely neighbours. We now have many offers of babysitters!

Re Elizabeth bum'sp - she has now healed around 2/3rds of her exomphalos and is making amazing progress.

Just thought you'd like to know that amongst the many people including Anna in their prayers are my Methodist friends here in St Lucia and another friend, whose denomination I can't remember, in Botswana.

I've just returned home from 2 weeks in the UK for my daughter, Pia's wedding. One of the first things my friend Merle said to me when I arrived back here was 'How's Anna?'

Your little sweetheart is going to end up more famous (deservedly) than Michael Jackson!

With love,

Sue

PS You're right about 'anonymous' - it is easier!
